Let's Talk

Campaign Branding, 2019

Let’s Talk is a campaign to raise awareness about speech and language disorders. The campaign includes an app, posters and a zine. The app has features that can be used to treat these disorders as well as features that can be used to make life slightly easier for both children and parents.

Many children with speech and language disorders require numerous anxiety-inducing doctor appointments. As many of these conditions are worsened by anxiety it may be hard for doctors to accurately track progress. The Let's Talk app would allow carers to record progress to show the doctor and may act as a way to reduce the number of appointments needed.

Bright friendly colours are used throughout the brand to appeal to a family audience. Overlapping numbers and symbols are used to convey the idea of bringing families together. A rounded typeface is used to make the campaign and app seem more welcoming and child friendly.
